The Family System

Families, Tiers and Classes

Each Panther NFT you own belongs to one of the three families. And each NFT belongs to a specific job or class that will decide its tier within its respective family. Each family bestows specific characteristics and mechanics upon its family members and the panther's tier within the family (decided by rarity) will determine the potency of family characteristics it allows its holder to enjoy.

There are 3 Panther families and a whopping total of 54 classes (18 classes per family), and within each family there are 6* tiers numbered 0 through 5 with tier 0 reserved for special* classes. There are 3 specials classes per family.

Family Activities

As the project evolves throughout Episode 01 and beyond, there will be a number of activities unlocked for Panther to partake in. These activities will revolve around production, trade, investment, and consumption.

Production

Each family will have a unique production capability based on their family characteristics.

The Kaiser Family can produce raw materials, such as iron or wood, through brute force and physical labor. These raw materials will be used to create buildings and combine items into a number of useful items such a "Panther Dens" and tools that increase the proficiency in producing goods.

The Minerva Family can create a number of goods like construction manuals and schematics (Used by the other families), potions (which grant the user a number of varied beneficial effects) and "laws" (more to be shared later) through wisdom and knowledge.

The Aufidius Family can produce religious artefacts or services, such as altars, blessings or prayers, through faith and devotion. These religious effects have a number of divine effects that will result in.

Investment

Players can invest their $SCAR in a number of ventures to earn a return on their investment. Each family has a unique investment capability based on their family characteristics.

The Kaiser Family can invest in physical infrastructure, such as mines or factories which will initially provide boosts in Kaiser production capabilities.

The Minerva Family can invest in intellectual property, such as research or innovation which will increase the potency of the goods and services that Minerva Panthers can create.

The Aufidius Family can invest in spiritual endeavours, such as Temples which further strengthen faith and therefore the strength behind the religious artefacts and service that Aufidius Panthers create.

Consumption

Panther holders will be able to consume a number of interoperable goods created by other panthers via trading.

Kaisers will be able to create Panther Dens and place structures and objects within that will grant a plethora of beneficial effects and bonuses over time. Panthers will be able to consume potions and use recipes and schematics created by Minervans, as well as religious artefacts and prayers created by Aufidians.

The general idea is to create a working ecosystem of activity and rewards that incentivises the long running sustenance of the Solitude Panther Association.

Family Wars

Each month, a sizeable % of royalties and fees from the our panthora marketplace will go into a war chest. Initially, the pot is divided up into 3 and allocated equally between each of the families. After that, a war phase will open and a number of interactions between the families will take place that will ultimately determine the final share of $SCAR for that period.

Kaisers will have a chance to steal from the other families, Minerva will mandate taxes from the other families and Aufidius members will be able to pray and make offerings to affect the overall share amongst all 3 families in their favour.

Family Reputation System

We also plan to include a reputation system, where a family's reputation can increase or decrease based on their actions and decisions. Family reputation will be reset Each month and having more reputation will grant families a net buff towards activities and rewards for a specific time period.
